The World’s Smallest Portable Gas Chromatograph


The FROG-5000™ is the only portable gas chromatograph that weighs less than 5lbs (2.2kgs). The FROG-5000™ delivers lab quality results in the field. In less than 10 minutes, the operator can detect volatile organic compounds in air, water, and soil. The FROG-5000™ portable GC will detect chemicals as volatile as vinyl chloride in addition to semi-volatile organic compounds such as naphthalene. The FROG-5000™ can detect VOCs at sub-ppb levels or at high ppm levels depending on its configuration.

Detecting VOCs in Air with the FROG-5000™ Portable Gas Chromatograph
When equipped with its air sampler, the FROG can detect VOCs down to single digit ppb concentrations. At less than 5lbs, the FROG can be carried from one location to another with ease. This is particularly valuable for monitoring multiple sub-slab ports for vapor intrusion studies or for surveying various points in a factory floor for industrial hygiene. It can also be operated continuously — all data is logged on its internal microSD card.
